I have heard from other astrologers that Moon is more relevant in a pet’s horoscope than would be their Sun’s sign. This was because the moon is more instinctual than the Sun, and animals are more instinctual than is Mankind.
I tried to find websites that give pet horoscopes reflectin this principle, but the ones that I found are centered around Sun signs, which means these are not very expert pet astrologers.
Also I read that it is well for a pet’s Sun’s sign to be the same as yours, for compatibility. Between 2 people, this is not usually the case. By itself, having same Sun signs lend nothing to relationships between 2 members of Mankind.
But in a pet’s chart, the Sun does not represent the pet itself, but it represents you, the boss. So the pet’s chart shows Sun in a sign, and that represents you, it is good for the relationship if your Sun is congruent with the pet’s chart.
